Solitude is where I commonly reside,
It is my Sanctuary,
My place to hide.
Solitude is my best friend,
It helps keeps me sane,
When I'm going 'round the bend'.
Solitude is like music when I'm feeling low,
And though it makes me hostile,
It's because I don't want my deepest feelings to show.
Solitude is like the best friend I've never had,
It comforts me and lets me think,
Whenever I'm feeling sad.
Solitude is oh so lonely,
Yet it is the thing I need the most.
