External temperature of -2 Celsius. Internal temperature of -45 Celsius. The atmosphere so cold you could be frozen in just a second. The ground so icy that any slip was a dire mistake and would have grave consequences. Temperatures so cold that things could snap at any moment. Every step taken could be the last one before a fall, one that might shatter the ice and leave you stranded, alone.
The fight for survival was every man for himself for some, and a team effort for others, and the difference was clear. Those who didn't bother to comunicate with the main group, or fought for solely their survival and were selfish with their resources were given multiple chances to be reunited with the group.. But in other instances, those who became a team in time of need, the fight for survival in the desolate and wintry conditions taking precedence over selfish ambitions.
Eposure to the elements' wrath was brutal - deadly sometimes. Snowstorms so heavy that you could suffocate in the density. The sun's glare on the ice blinding. Winds so strong you could be ripped apart..
And all of this was only an indoor storm .
