And there she shattered before my eyes,
Every piece of her yelling a thousand cries -
Each one begging for this not to be real
Looking at me to be the catalyst to heal.
And yet I turned away, full of shame and guilt,
for so readily destroying the world I should have built
And it pains me to shy away from your gentle kiss
And of all the people I should miss!
I wish I didn't have to leave you
I wish I could have seen this through
But I can't undo what's already done now
